These pictures were taken Christmas Eve in Texas. We spent the day at my grandparent’s house enjoying family time. I loved getting to see my grandpa hold and feed Charlotte. This is my dad’s side of the family’s first great grandchild, so it was a very special time for us to see the many generations all together.
Every year we go to my grandparent’s church in the evening for The Christmas Story production in which my two beautiful cousins participate in. This year, we didn’t quite make it to the performance at the church so Great Grandpa Marvel, Scott, Charlotte and I stayed in and watched some college bowl games. What a day!
Afterwards, we always go to my Aunt and Uncle’s house for a traditional Chinese feast! Well…it’s traditional for us. I can’t remember a single Christmas Eve without egg rolls, fried rice, and my Aunt’s delicious apple cider. That’s one winning combination in my book! Their house is beautifully decked out in decorations, complete with a nutcracker collection that could rival the best around. [They got Charlotte a sparkly pink one for Christmas so she can start her own collection!] Such a fabulous day!

What precious memories those will be. And I love Miss Charlotte’s drool bubbles, little things like that are so soon forgotten! Can you tell I miss those slobbery baby chins!
I told Hannah if I’m not careful y’all are gonna give me “the fever” with all these little ones! :)
